Abstract:
Provided is an eating utensil that has a cushiony, pliable handle portion that, when substantial stress is applied during eating or the like, can flexibly deform to relieve the stress and keep from breaking. The eating utensil is formed using a sheet material and comprises a grasping part that includes at least a handle portion. The grasping part is formed by intertwining two or more belt-like portions, preferably such that the belt-like portions curve in the thickness direction but are not twisted around the longitudinal axis.
