Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a technology with which an earring body can be openable and closable in a two-part configuration such that the two parts can be held in a specific open or closed state. [Solution] An earring body 20 comprises a two-part configuration of a first wire arm 210 and a second wire arm 220. The two wire arms 210, 220 fit together to form a U shape. Pads 410, 420 that touch the earlobe are supported on one end of each of the wire arms 210, 220. The second wire arm 220 pivots around a wire support shaft 50, thereby altering the distance between the pads 410, 420. When forming the U shape, the two wire arms 210, 220 interfere with each other to produce an elastic resistance that works to maintain the U shape.
