Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a trolley electricity supply-type dump truck that can prevent over discharge of batteries while minimizing decline in transport efficiency. To accomplish this purpose, this vehicle control device comprises: a remaining battery level decrease amount calculation unit which calculates a remaining battery level decrease amount in a non-trolley line segment; a remaining battery level target increment calculation unit which calculates a remaining battery level target increment by adding a prescribed remaining battery level addition amount to said remaining battery level decrease amount; a remaining battery level target value calculation unit which calculates a remaining battery level target value by adding the remaining battery level target increment to the remaining battery level at the time of the start of travel in a trolley line segment 22; and a travel operation assistance unit which assists in travel operation for causing the remaining battery level at the time of the end of the travel in the trolley line segment 22 to match the remaining battery level target value.
