Abstract:
A dual-mode charge control method for performing output voltage control on a load coupled to a circuit having a resonant tank. The method comprises: detecting an input voltage of a resonant tank, a resonant current of the resonant tank, an output current of a load, and an output voltage of the load; determining the current load condition according to the output current, and when the load is in a light-load or no-load state, performing single-line charge control; in the single-line charge control, compensating for the output voltage to generate an upper critical voltage, and operating the resonant current by means of a resettable integrator to obtain a resonant voltage; comparing the resonant voltage with the upper critical voltage to generate a first control signal, wherein the resettable integrator is reset when the resonant voltage is greater than or equal to the upper critical voltage; generating a second control signal complementary to the first control signal by means of a pulse conduction time replicator; and providing the first control signal and the second control signal to respectively control a first power switch and a second power switch of a resonance circuit.
