An HMI control device (25) configured to control an HMI device (20) which presents information in such a way as to recognizable by a driver of an autonomously drivable vehicle (1), traveling by following a preceding vehicle at or below a predetermined speed, is provided with a caution information presenting unit (259), a behavior acquiring unit (253), and a secondary task control unit (258). The caution information presenting unit presents caution information for alerting the driver if it is determined that traffic congestion has been resolved. The behavior acquiring unit acquires the behavior of the driver. The secondary task control unit terminates a secondary task being performed on the HMI device at a termination timing corresponding to the behavior after the caution information has been presented, acquired by the behavior acquiring unit.
