Abstract:
This driver device comprises a control circuit which controls an output stage circuit that supplies an output current to a coil, and moves a movable portion by using a magnetic force generated by the supply of the output current. The control circuit can execute a holding control for stopping the movement of the movable portion and maintains the state of the movable portion unchanged. When the holding control is performed by the control circuit, the presence or absence of external force that resists the holding control and changes the state of the movable portion is detected, on the basis of the state of power supply to the coil by the output stage circuit, the output current, or the current flowing in the output stage circuit.
