Abstract:
The present invention relates to a distance-adaptive traffic distribution method and system for a data center elastic optical network. The method comprises: initializing a data center elastic optical network, and generating a set of connection requests; determining whether the remaining computing power resources at a source node and a sink node of each connection request are greater than or equal to computing power resources required for the connection request, if yes, establishing working paths, and if not, establishment of a connection request failing; computing K working paths and path lengths; selecting modulation formats according to the path lengths; performing traffic distribution according to different modulation formats, and allocating spectrum resources to the connection requests; configuring the number of regenerators required for the connection requests; and updating the computing power resources and spectrum resources of the connection requests, and computing energy consumption, a network congestion rate, and a spectrum occupancy rate. According to the present invention, by means of distance-adaptive modulation, traffic distribution, and the configuration of optical regenerators, the waste of resources in a network is reduced, the network congestion rate is reduced, and the energy consumption in an optical network is reduced.
