Abstract:
Disclosed are a disease resistance-related protein RCR1, a coding gene thereof, and use thereof. The disease resistance-related protein RCR1 provided by the present invention is a protein set forth in sequence 2. The present invention demonstrates by means of experiments that when RCR1-transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana or rape is infected with Plasmodiophora species, the resistance to Plasmodiophora species is significantly enhanced as compared with wild-type Arabidopsis thaliana or rape; compared with the wild-type Arabidopsis thaliana, the resistance to Plasmodiophora species of RCR1 gene-knockout Arabidopsis thaliana is significantly reduced. It is indicated that the RCR1 gene is related to the resistance of Arabidopsis thaliana to Plasmodiophora species, and the RCR1 protein and the coding gene thereof can be used for cultivating clubroot-resistant varieties in agricultural production. The present invention has great significance for breeding disease-resistant varieties, especially for breeding new varieties of clubroot-resistant Brassicaceae crops, and can be used for breeding and identifying disease-resistant plant varieties required by agricultural production.
