Abstract:
A device for electromagnetic edge turning of a side hole in a high-strength aluminum alloy ellipsoidal thin-wall member, the device comprising a lower positioning base (1), a supporting frame (2), an upper positioning base (9), a bottom plate (17) and an ellipsoidal thin-wall member side hole edge turning mold, wherein the lower positioning base (1) comprises a lower positioning stand column (1-1), a bushing a (1-2) and a lower positioning pin (1-3); the upper positioning base (9) comprises an upper positioning stand column (9-3), a bushing b (9-2) and an upper positioning bolt (9-1); and the supporting frame (2), the lower positioning stand column (1-1) and the upper positioning stand column (9-3) are arranged on the bottom plate (17). Electromagnetic forming edge turning is used to replace traditional large-scale hydraulic system mold hole turning, so that the use of a large-tonnage liquid apparatus having a large table top is avoided, and an apparatus, a process and a mold are simplified, thus improving the quality and efficiency of manufacturing an ellipsoidal thin-wall member side hole turned edge. Further provided is a method for electromagnetic edge turning of a side hole in a high-strength aluminum alloy ellipsoidal thin-wall member.
