Abstract:
A device and a method for controlling the pitch angle of a propeller are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present embodiment, one objective of the present invention is to provide the device and the method, which calculate the pitch angle at which the propeller has maximum efficiency, despite a change in the number of revolutions of a propeller and an irregular speed of a ship, thereby controlling the pitch angle of the propeller such that the propeller has the corresponding pitch angle.
