Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to decolorize and solubilize a metal complex by easy methods using non-petroleum raw materials, thereby providing recyclable toners, inks, printed matter, paints, coatings, plastics, fibers, films, resists for black matrixes, resists for photospacers, and cured objects of these resists. It has been discovered that a complex compound composed of trivalent iron metal and a benzenetriol derivative, in which the benzene skeleton has hydroxyl groups at adjacent positions, can be decolorized by making an aqueous dispersion of the complex compound acidic or adding a chelating agent thereto and that the complex compound can be solubilized in water by making the aqueous dispersion alkaline and thereby separation thereof becomes easy.
