Abstract:
The present application discloses a data transmission method, related equipment, and an optical communication system. By multiplexing a data stream carrying an uplink service and a data stream carrying a downlink service into one multiplexed data stream, the number of optical signals required for uplink service and downlink service transmission is reduced. The method comprises: a communication node obtains a first downlink data stream; the communication node obtains a first uplink data stream; the communication node multiplexes the first uplink data stream and the first downlink data stream to obtain a first multiplexed data stream; the communication node sends the first multiplexed data stream. Embodiments of the present application further provide a method capable of reducing the complexity and cost in an uplink and downlink service transmission process. The method comprises: a communication node selects a first RX and a first TX; the communication node receives a downlink service data stream from first central office equipment by means of the first RX; the communication node sends an uplink service data stream to the first central office equipment by means of the first TX.
