Abstract:
This data transfer system is provided with first and second transfer units which perform data transfer via a network between first and second memory regions at a predetermined transfer cycle. A control device for a device to be controlled reads a factor data set from the second memory region for control at each predetermined control cycle, and writes, into the second memory region, a control data set based on the factor data set. During factor transfer at each predetermined transfer cycle, the first and second transfer units transfer the factor data set from the first memory region to the second memory region. During control transfer at each predetermined transfer cycle, the control data set is transferred from the second memory region to the first memory region. In the network, the delay time differs depending on the transfer cycle. The predetermined transfer cycle is a cycle shorter than the predetermined control cycle, and is one transfer cycle that falls within an allowable delay time.
