Abstract:
The present invention integrates detection results of a camera and a LiDAR using a simple method. A data generation method according to the present disclosure comprises: acquiring image data indicating an image from a camera that has captured a measurement area; acquiring, on the basis of the image data, first data indicating information of a first object; acquiring point group data from a LiDAR device that has measured the measurement area; and acquiring, on the basis of the point group data, second data indicating information of a second object. When acquiring the first data on the basis of the image data, the coordinates of the first object in the image data are found, and information related to the length of the first object is acquired on the basis of the coordinates of the first object. The first data includes information related to the length of the first object, and the second data includes information related to the length of the second object. By integrating the first data and the second data in which the information related to the length of the first object and the information related to the length of the second object match, integrated data indicating information related to an object in the measurement area is generated.
