Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of wall damp-proof, and disclosed are a damp-proof structure and method for an ancient dwelling wall. The present invention comprises a wall base; a brick wall is provided on the upper side of the wall base; hydrophobic layers are provided on two opposite sides of the brick wall; sealing assemblies are provided on two opposite sides of the wall base; a sacrificial layer is provided in each sealing assembly and is located on one side of each of the wall base and the brick wall; a plurality of grouting holes are uniformly formed in one side of the brick wall; damp-proof layers are arranged in the grouting holes and the portions, on the peripheral sides of the grouting holes, of the brick wall; and the damp-proof layers are located between the two sealing assemblies. According to the present invention, the probability that water continuously permeates upwards along the brick wall is reduced by means of the damp-proof layers in the brick wall, the probability that the brick wall absorbs rainwater or moisture in air is reduced by means of the hydrophobic layers, and residual water in the brick wall and the wall base is reduced by means of the sacrificial layers, such that the service life of the wall is prolonged; and by means of cooperation of the damp-proof layers, the hydrophobic layers, and the sacrificial layers, the probability of efflorescence or moss growth because the surface of the wall is in a damp state for a long time is reduced.
