Abstract:
A cylindrical ultraviolet lamp capable of reducing ozone generation, comprising an outer cylinder (4). An inner cylinder (5) transversely passes through the interior of the outer cylinder (4); an outer electrode (6) is provided on the outer side wall of the outer cylinder (4); an inner electrode (7) is provided on the inner side of the inner cylinder (5); the outer electrode (6) is in surface contact with the outer side wall of the outer cylinder (4); the width of a contact surface between the outer electrode (6) and the outer cylinder (4) is equal to the width of an effective electric field generated between the outer electrode (6) and the inner electrode (7). The outer electrode (6) is in surface contact with the outer side wall of the outer cylinder (4), and the width of the contact surface between the outer electrode (6) and the outer cylinder (4) is equal to the width of the effective electric field generated between the outer electrode (6) and the inner electrode (7), so that when the outer electrode (6) is connected to a high voltage, since there is no discharge area between the outer electrode (6) and the outer cylinder (4), generation of discharge in air is avoided, ozone is not generated, and harm of ozone to human health is further avoided.
