Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a cyclopolymerized L-lactic acid having a pH of 6-7 as a single polymer. [Solution] In this method of producing a cyclopolymerized L-lactic acid, pressure is reduced and spraying of nitrogen gas is stopped while maintaining a temperature of 193°C; oxygen is blown in and pressure is changed to be 760 mmHg to thereby generate vapor and perform heating for several hours; and then the resultant product is taken out and cooled at 60°C for solidification. In this process, a substance without an acidity was obtained, or a substance showed a neutrality of pH 6.2, as a result of measuring the pH of the substance.
