Abstract:
A cutting tool (10) comprises: a plurality of cutting blade parts (14) arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of a circle centered on an axial line (A0), each cutting blade part having a rake surface (16) and a cutting blade (18) positioned in a leading edge direction (D) of the cutting tool with respect to the rake surface; blade direction grooves (20) having step sections (24) formed on the rake surface along a blade direction (E) of the cutting blade intersecting an axial direction (A) of the axial line; and an axial-direction groove (26) having an end section (26e) reaching the cutting blade, the axial-direction groove being formed on the rake surface along the axial direction. The plurality of direction grooves have mutually differing distances (D1, D2) to the axial line.
