An cutting facilitating twist drill with a long service life. A main cutting edge (3) is provided with a vertical discharging groove; a cutting portion of the twist drill comprises the main cutting edge (3), a lateral cutting edge (2), discharging grooves, and a rear groove ridge (4); the lateral cutting edge (2) is provided on a left side of the main cutting edge (3); and the discharging grooves comprises the vertical discharging groove (5) and a transverse discharging groove (6), wherein the vertical discharging groove (5) is provided on the main cutting edge (3), the transverse discharging groove (6) is provided on the lateral cutting edge (2), the transverse discharging groove (6) is in communication with the vertical discharging groove (5), and the grooving angle of the vertical discharging groove (5) is perpendicular to an edge of the rear groove ridge (4). A transverse discharging groove is additionally provided on the side of the main cutting edge provided with a discharging groove at a drill tip, so that chips can be curled and cut off while chip discharging is assisted, and the chips can be discharged in a spiral curling form after a drill bit is used for a long time, thereby prolonging the service life of the twist drill, increasing the drilling speed, and improving the quality of a cut hole.
