Abstract:
Provided is a crossbelt sorter which automatically and safely resolves an abnormal loading state of cargo such as a load of two pieces of cargo on a cell or a load of cargo at a location outside a cell after introduction. The present invention individually includes: a cargo condition analysis zone in which the condition of the cargo on a cell is analyzed after the introduction of the cargo; and an abnormal handling zone in which a case where the condition of the cargo is analyzed to be abnormal in the cargo condition analysis zone is handled. In the cargo condition analysis zone, the condition of cargo in each cell on a main conveyor is analyzed by camera imaging from above and/or a laser sensor, and, when an abnormality in which two pieces of cargo are present on one cell is admitted by the analysis in the cargo condition analysis zone, one of the pieces of cargo on the cell is removed by a robot in the abnormal handing zone. When an abnormality in which cargo is deviated from a cell is acknowledged, the deviated cargo is removed from the cell in the abnormality handing zone and the removed cargo is moved to a reject chute, a vacant cell or the like.
