Abstract:
According to the present invention, in a first step S101, pretreatment for measuring moisture characteristics of soil is performed. The pretreatment can be performed by removing moisture in the soil to be pretreated. For example, the removal of water, which is the cause of soil amassing, may performed as a pretreatment. Next, in a second step S102, the moisture characteristics of the pretreated soil are measured. A moisture characteristic is the moisture content of soil. In addition, a moisture characteristic is the matric potential value at the prescribed soil moisture content. Next, in a third step S103, the corrosion of a metal member buried in the soil is estimated from the measured moisture characteristics.
