Abstract:
This converter furnace equipment comprises: a first electrode disposed so that the distal end thereof is immersed in slag generated above a molten iron alloy bath in a converter furnace; a second electrode disposed so as to contact the molten iron alloy bath or the slag; a power device that supplies DC current to the first electrode and the second electrode via the slag; and a control device that controls the DC current so that the current does not exceed a pre-set maximum output current.
