Abstract:
The present invention relates to a control panel (K) suitable for use in a domestic appliances used for cleaning and/or drying various items using a washing liquid, such as water, wherein the control panel (K) allows a user to control operation of the domestic appliance and to be informed about the operational status of the domestic appliance, and comprises a body (1); a control element; a control unit (2); a control screen (3) made of a transparent material and mounted on the body (1) to close the opening (1a) such that said control unit (2) remains between the control screen (3) and the body (1), wherein the control screen (3) comprises a rear surface (3b) facing the control unit (2) when mounted on the body (1), a front surface (3a) opposite the rear surface (3b), which forms a side viewed by the user, a third connecting piece (3c) located on the rear surface (3b) for mounting the rear surface on the body (1) and/or control unit (2), a display area (3d) on the rear surface (3b), which displays the information to the user on the control screen (3) by means of the light sources provided in the control unit (2), and at least one matte area (3e) provided at the rear surface (3b) except for the display area (3d) thereof, having a matte texture and making the first connecting piece (1b), the second connecting piece (2a) and/or the third connecting piece (3c) invisible on the front surface (3a).
