Abstract:
The present application relates to air conditioning technology. Provided are a control method and apparatus for condensate water removal of an air conditioner, and an air conditioner. The control method comprises: acquiring a condensate water removal starting instruction, and turning off a compressor in an outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to the condensate water removal starting instruction; after a first time, controlling the air conditioner to switch from the current refrigeration mode to a heating mode, and also turning off a fan in an indoor unit of the air conditioner and turning on the compressor; after it is determined that condensate water has been removed, turning off the compressor, and turning on the fan; and after a second time, controlling the air conditioner to recover from the heating mode to the refrigeration mode, and also turning on the compressor. In the present solution, when an air conditioner is in a refrigeration mode, condensate water on fins of a heat exchanger in an indoor unit of the air conditioner in the refrigeration mode can be removed by means of switching between the refrigeration mode and a heating mode. Thus, the cold and hot exchange effect of the air conditioner can be improved, the service life of hydrophilic or hydrophobic coatings on the fins can also be prolonged, and the problem of water blowing of an air outlet of an indoor unit of an air conditioner can be better prevented, thereby improving the user experience.
