Abstract:
A control method for an air conditioner. The air conditioner comprises a water storage tank (10), a water turbine (11) arranged in the water storage tank (10), a sterilization device (13) used for sterilizing water in the water storage tank (10), and a fan (20) used for promoting airflow to pass through the water storage tank (10). The control method comprises: when a fan (20) works, acquiring a rotation speed of a water turbine (11); and rotating the water turbine (11) according to the rotation speed, determining the power of the sterilization device (13) according to the rotation speed of the water turbine (11), and operating the sterilization device (13) according to the determined power. In the control method for the air conditioner, when the water turbine (11) rotates, the sterilization device (13) also works according to the determined power, so as to kill scattered planktonic molds, thereby improving the sterilization efficiency and shortening the sterilization time. Moreover, since sedimentary blocks of the planktonic molds are scattered, the sterilization device may not use a relatively large power, thereby further saving energy and prolonging the service life of the sterilization device (13).
