A depth map is generated while the amount of movement of a focus lens is suppressed, which may comprise: a control unit, which makes an imaging device capture a first imaging range when an imaging surface of the imaging device and a focusing lens of the imaging device are in a first positional relationship and makes the imaging device capture a second imaging range when the imaging surface of the imaging device and the focusing lens of the imaging device are in a second positional relationship, the second imaging range being different from the first imaging range and comprising a first repetition range that is repeated from the first imaging range; an acquisition unit, which acquires a first imaging image of the first imaging range and a second imaging image of the second imaging range captured by the imaging device; a calculation unit, which calculates respective blur amounts of a first image corresponding to the first repetition range comprised in the first imaging image and a second image corresponding to the first repetition range comprised in the second imaging image; and a generating unit, which generates a depth map comprising depth information corresponding to the first repetition range on the basis of the respective blur amounts of the first image and the second image.
