Abstract:
This contactless conveyance device has a conveyance head 10 in which a flat facing surface 11 that faces a conveyed item is formed. A gas supply port 14 that is connected to a compressed gas supply source is provided in the conveyance head 10. Respective ejection apertures 22 of a plurality of jet passages 21 that are formed in the conveyance head 10 in communication with the gas supply port 14 are provided in locations that are removed by respective opening distances from a retention center point P of the facing surface 11. The angles of inclination of the jet passages 21 with regard to the facing surface 11 are configured as acute angles. The compressed gas that is ejected from each of the ejection apertures 22 flows along the facing surface 11 and retains the conveyed item without allowing the same to contact the facing surface 11.
