Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to construction machine and a control method thereof. The construction machine comprises: an engine that produces power; a pump driven by the bump; an engine control unit that detects an intake air volume of the engine; a joystick that transmits an operation signal; and a vehicle control unit that receives the intake air volume detected by the engine control unit and changes a pump torque increase rate of the bump upward if the intake air volume is not less than a certain level, when the operation signal is transmitted from the joystick.
