Abstract:
Provided is a conductive polymer solution from which it is possible to provide an electrolytic capacitor that has a high capacity and that exhibits low ESR characteristics. The present invention uses a conductive polymer solution that contains 0.01-10 mass% of a polythiophene (A) having at least one structural unit selected from the group consisting of structural units represented by general formula (1) and structural units represented by general formula (2), 0.001-20 mass% of an epoxy compound (B) having at least two epoxy groups, and water, and that has a pH of 1.5-5.0. [In general formulae (1) and (2), R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group, a linear or branched alkyl group having 3-6 carbon atoms, or a fluorine atom, m represents an integer of 1-10, and n represents 0 or 1.]
