Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a composition for preventing or treating OSCAR-induced diseases, comprising comprising adefovir as an active ingredient; and a method for treating OSCAR-induced diseases, comprising a step of administering the composition to a subject with an OSCAR-induced disease. The composition is an OSCAR inhibitor that reduces the mRNA expression of OSCAR, and has been identified to have the effects of alleviating inflammation and promoting the differentiation and regeneration of cartilage cells, and thus can be effectively used in the treatment of OSCAR-induced diseases including metabolic bone diseases.
