Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a composition for preventing or relieving alcoholic liver damage, the composition containing, as an active ingredient, a kiwi-fermented product obtained by fermenting kiwi with lactic acid bacteria; and a composition for relieving hangovers. According to the present invention, the kiwi-fermented product promotes alcohol metabolism in the liver, whereby alcohol metabolism is activated so that the concentration of ethanol and aldehyde in the blood decreases, and inhibits fat accumulation and inflammatory cytokine production in the liver as well as cholesterol and triglyceride accumulation, and thus can prevent or improve alcoholic liver damage and relieve various hangover symptoms.
