Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for a biodegradable multifilament fiber, and a biodegradable multifilament fiber and a method for producing same. Specifically, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the composition for a biodegradable multifilament fiber comprises: a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) resin containing a 4-hydroxybutyrate (4-HB) repeating unit; and a crystallizing agent, wherein the density of the crystallizing agent satisfies 0.7 g/cm3 to 1.3 g/cm3, and thus the composition has excellent biodegradability and biocompatibility, allowing for eco-friendliness and superior processability and productivity, so that high-quality biodegradable multifilament fibers can be easily produced using the composition.
