Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for a biodegradable meltblown nonwoven fabric, and a biodegradable meltblown nonwoven fabric manufactured using same. Specifically, according to one embodiment of the present invention, the composition for biodegradable meltblown nonwoven fabric comprises a polyhydroxyalkanoate (Pha) resin including a 4-hydroxybutyrate (4-HB) repeating unit, and satisfies a melt flow index (MFI) of at least 30 g/10 min, as measured at 210°C and under 2.16 kg according to ASTM D1238, and is thus environmentally friendly, having excellent biodegradability and biocompatibility, and can enhance properties such as filtration, breathability, and flexibility, as well as diameter uniformity and the like of fibers manufactured under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, such as by a meltblown process.
