This composite operation input device (100) comprises: an operable body (102) provided so as to enable a rotary operation about an axis line (Ax) and a pressing operation in a first direction (Z) perpendicular to the axis line; a shaft (103) which is provided to protrude from the operable body in the axis line and can integrally rotate with the operable body about the axis line; a movable body (104) which pivotally supports the shaft and is provided to be able to reciprocate together with the shaft in the first direction; a click stop cam (107) which is provided so as to be able to integrally rotate with the shaft, and on which peak sections and valley sections that have a height difference therebetween in the radial direction are alternately provided side by side in the circumferential direction; a slide member (108) which is provided so as to be able to reciprocate in the first direction and has a leading end section (108A) that abuts the outer peripheral section of the click stop cam; an elastic member (109) which biases the slide member toward the click stop cam; and a case (101), the composite operation input device (100) further comprising a rotation restriction mechanism (120) which restricts the rotation of the click stop cam through the slide member when the operable body is pressed.
