Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. A terminal device can request that a network device reconfigures the current configuration information of a paging signal or the current configuration information of a reference signal, such that the interval between the receiving time of the paging signal and the receiving time of the reference signal is adjusted according to the actual service requirements, so that the energy consumption of the terminal device can be reduced, and the flexible configuration of the paging signal and the reference signal of the terminal device can also be realized.
