Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a communication method and a communication apparatus. In the communication method provided in the present application, a first signal sent by a first communication device to a second communication device is obtained according to a first symbol and a second symbol, wherein the first symbol carries first information, and the second symbol carries second information; the symbol length of the first symbol is the same as that of the second symbol; the first symbol and the second symbol each comprise a high-level signal and a low-level signal; and a first duration, in the first symbol, of the high-level signal in the first symbol is different from a second duration, in the second symbol, of the high-level signal in the second symbol. In the technical solution, a second communication device can determine the boundary position of each symbol on the basis of an envelope signal itself, such that the dependence on a preamble sequence is reduced, and it is then possible to reduce the occurrence of a situation where a first communication device sends a preamble sequence; therefore, the power consumption of the first communication device can be reduced.
