Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a communication method, a communication apparatus, a storage medium, and a program product. The method may comprise: successfully handing over from a first cell of a first access network device based on first RAT to a second cell of a second access network device based on second RAT; generating a first report for the handover, the first report comprising information related to the handover, and the first RAT being different from the second RAT; and sending the first report to a third access network device. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, information of a report and a corresponding recording mode can be added, and information recording of handover between different RAT-based cells is supported. The embodiments of the present disclosure also provide multiple methods for configuring a trigger condition for handover-related report generation, and a method for a network side to sense a related handover report.
