Abstract:
Disclosed is a combined washer and dryer. The combined washer and dryer disclosed herein comprises: a cabinet having a laundry inlet port formed in the front surface thereof; a tub which is disposed in the cabinet and is provided with a front opening connected to the laundry inlet port and a rear opening; a drum disposed in the tub to be rotatable; and a drying apparatus which is disposed on the upper portion of the tub and supplies hot wind toward the front opening. The drying apparatus comprises: a heat exchanger comprising an evaporator and a condenser; a compressor which is disposed behind the heat exchanger and compresses and circulates a refrigerant of the heat exchanger; an inlet duct which is disposed at one side of the heat exchanger, and guides the air flowing in from the rear portion toward the heat exchanger; a supply duct which is disposed at the other side of the heat exchanger and guides the air passing through the heat exchanger to be discharged to the front portion; and a blower fan supplying the air discharged from the supply duct to the front opening. In addition, the combined washer and dryer may further comprise a ventilation opening provided in the rear portion of the cabinet, which corresponds to the position where the drying apparatus is arranged, and a cooling fan which is disposed in the ventilation opening and supplies the external air to the compressor.
