Abstract:
A coil position estimation device (150) that is used by being mounted on a vehicle (10) together with a power receiving device (3) to which power is supplied in a non-contact manner from a power transmission device (2) having a power transmission coil (21) installed on a road (4), and which estimates the position of the power transmission coil, comprises: a past maximum position specifying unit (152) that specifies a past maximum position where the received power on the road reached a maximum in the past, from a temporal change in the received power in the power receiving device; and a power transmission coil position estimation unit (153) that uses the specified past maximum position to estimate a future maximum position, which is a position where the received power is maximum in front of the road, as the position of the power transmission coil.
