Abstract:

Disclosed is a coffee vending machine which is installed at a certain place so as to make coffee drinkable for a user by adding water or steam to a capsule in which liquid, pasty, or powder beverage ingredients, in particular, coffee ingredients, are contained. The coffee vending machine comprises: a grid type capsule loading unit for loading a plurality of capsules in a first direction; a capsule supply unit disposed under the capsule loading unit so as to supply the capsules in a fixed quantity; a coffee extraction unit for supplying water to a capsule supplied and seated by the capsule supply unit so as to extract coffee drinkable for a user; and a cup dispensing unit for transferring a cup containing the extracted coffee to an opening communicating with the outside, wherein the coffee extraction unit is operated to receive a capsule in a seating groove formed when a first partial seating portion and a second partial seating portion come into contact with or are positioned adjacent to each other, and to allow free falling of the capsule through a gap formed when the first partial seating portion and the second partial seating portion are spaced apart from each other.
