Abstract:
A coating agent for oil seal, which is prepared as an organic solvent solution that contains from 10 parts by weight to 90 parts by weight of a filler and from 10 parts by weight to 40 parts by weight of a wax with respect to 100 parts by weight of an isocyanate group-containing 1, 2-polybutadiene, wherein silicone resin particles having a particle diameter of from 0.5 μm to 10 μm and fluorine resin particles having a particle diameter of from 0.1 μm to 2 μm are used as the filler, respectively in an amount of from 20% by weight to 80% by weight relative to the total amount of the filler. This coating agent for oil seal enables oil seal to exhibit inherent excellent sealing performance and to achieve a low torque, while maintaining good dispersibility of the coating agent.
