Abstract:
A clothing treatment apparatus and a control method therefor. The clothing treatment apparatus comprises a barrel for containing washing water and a water guide pipe in communication with the barrel, and further comprises a micro-plastic decomposition apparatus (3) provided on the barrel and/or the water guide pipe, and used for decomposing micro-plastic in the washing water. By means of providing the micro-plastic decomposition apparatus (3), micro-plastic in the washing water in the barrel and the water guide pipe can be decomposed, thereby preventing discharge of the micro-plastic in the washing water into the external environment along with the washing water, which is harmful to the environment and affects the biological health. Compared with recovering micro-plastic from the external environment and then decomposing the micro-plastic, the present invention performs micro-plastic decomposition at the discharge source of the micro-plastic, significantly lowering the amount of the micro-plastic discharged, reducing the difficulty of recycling micro-plastic, and increasing micro-plastic decomposition efficiency.
