Abstract:
Disclosed is a cleaning device (1) for a handrail belt of an escalator. The cleaning device is configured to be mounted at a platform of the escalator close to a handrail belt (100) of the escalator, and to clean the handrail belt (100) while in motion. The cleaning device (1) comprises: a housing (10), wherein the housing is configured to accommodate a component of the cleaning device (1), and the handrail belt (100) moves through a space formed by the housing (10); a cleaning assembly, wherein the cleaning assembly is arranged in the housing (10) and configured to clean the handrail belt (100); a controller (8), wherein the controller is arranged in the housing (10) and configured to control the cleaning device (1); and one or more functional components of the escalator, wherein the one or more functional components are connected to a control system of the escalator and configured to respectively realize functions related to the escalator. By means of the arrangement described above, the cleaning device can automatically clean the handrail belt, and realize the functions related to the escalator.
