Abstract:
A cleaning composition, preferably a granular laundry detergent composition, containing a mixing of fatty acids or salts thereof in a specific surfactant system containing a C10-C20 linear alkylbenzene sulphonate (LAS) and a C6-C18 unalkoxylated alkyl sulphate (AS) at a weight ratio of from 3:1 to 50:1. The mixture of fatty acids or salts contains from 15％to 30％of fatty acids or salts derived from palm kernel oil and/or coconut oil, and from 70％to 85％of fatty acids or salts derived from palm oil. Such a mixture of fatty acids or salts in the specific surfactant system may provide improved sudsing profile during wash and may also reduce undissolvable residues on fabrics after wash.
