Abstract:
According to an embodiment, a charging device may comprise a multi-converter, an output port for charging an external device, a first battery and a controller. The controller can be configured to: check whether power is supplied to the charging device from an external power source; in a first state in which power is applied from the power source to the charging device, control the multi-converter such that the power provided from the power source is transmitted to the output port and control the multi-converter such that the power provided from the power source is transmitted to the first battery; and, in a second state in which power is not applied from outside to the charging device, control the multi-converter such that power provided from the first battery is transmitted to the output port. Other various embodiments are possible.
