Abstract:
A charging device (10) for mounting in a bodywork opening of a motor vehicle comprises a retaining element (13), which is designed for attachment to a bodywork part (11a) and has a through-opening (18). During mounting, a connecting element (15) is inserted into the opening (18) in order to produce a plug-in connection with an electrical charging station and/or with a fuel supply line for supplying fuel. A sealing unit (19) is arranged on the rear side (16) of the retaining element (13), which surrounds a receiving area (15a) for the connecting element (15) located behind the opening (18) of the retaining element (13), whereby the inserted connecting element (15) is sealed towards the retaining element (13). The sealing unit (19) is attached to the retaining element (13) in such a way that it is covered by the connecting element (15) after it has been inserted, so that it is not visible from the outside and seals against the connecting element (15).
