Abstract:
Disclosed is a technology that makes it possible to generate charged mist suitable for the purpose of attaining humidification or sterilization and deodorization. A charged mist generation apparatus (100) comprises: a water supply unit (1) that supplies water; a charged mist generation unit (2) that generates charged mist; a charged mist guiding electrode (3) that is disposed so as to face the charged mist generation unit (2); and a high voltage power source (4) that applies a high voltage between the charged mist generation unit (2) and the charged mist guiding electrode (3). The operation modes of the high voltage power source include a first operation mode in which charged mist having a low active species concentration is generated, and a second operation mode in which charged mist having a high active species concentration is generated.
