Abstract:
Disclosed is a catalyst regeneration method suitable for a fluid catalytic cracking device. The fluid catalytic cracking device comprises a catalytic cracking reactor and a catalyst regenerator. The regeneration method comprises the following steps: 1) providing biochar derived from biomass; 2) feeding, together or separately, the biochar and a spent catalyst from the catalytic cracking reactor into the catalyst regenerator; 3) introducing an oxygen-containing gas into the catalyst regenerator, wherein the oxygen content of the oxygen-containing gas is 14-28% by volume; and 4) bringing the spent catalyst into contact with the biochar and the oxygen-containing gas in the catalyst regenerator to perform coke-burning regeneration. The method provided in the present application fundamentally changes the source of the energy of the device, can greatly reduce the carbon emissions of a catalytic cracking unit, realizes the cyclic utilization of carbon, and provides energy for other process units.
