Abstract:
This catalyst support for induction heating includes: a honeycomb structure provided with a honeycomb structural part comprising an outer peripheral wall and partition walls that are disposed on the inside of the outer peripheral wall and that demarcate and form a plurality of cells that extend from a gas flow direction intake-side end surface to an exit-side end surface and form a flow path; a catalyst supported on the interior of the partition walls; and a magnetic body provided inside the honeycomb structure. The catalyst support includes a region A that does not support the catalyst, on at least the gas flow direction intake-side end surface side; and the magnetic body is arranged at least in the region A in the gas flow direction.
