Abstract:
A catalyst for amide synthesis and preparation and use thereof are disclosed. The catalyst is a thio or seleno pyranodipyrimidine compound and has a simple and novel structure, high catalytic efficiency, and good atom economy. The catalyst of the present invention can be used for the synthesis of an amide compound, which is specifically as follows: adding an organic solvent into a carboxylic acid component, an amine component, the catalyst, and triphenylphosphine or diphenylphosphine oxide, stirring under illumination, room temperature, or heating conditions until the triphenylphosphine or the diphenylphosphine oxide is completely consumed, and separating and purifying to obtain the amide compound. The amide compound is simple to synthesize and easy to purify. The catalytic reaction enables carboxylic acid to be directly catalyzed to become corresponding amide under room temperature, heating, illumination, and other such conditions without additional operations such as water removal or inert gas protection, and features short reaction time, high yield, only a single by-product, and good N and O selectivity under illumination conditions. The catalytic reaction can be directly used for solid-phase synthesis of amide or polypeptides and has wide industrial application prospects.
